Summary: The aim of this report is to analyze the state of the art about Social Impact Bonds (SIB). This is an innovative way of tackling social problems based on the results of the programs or on pay-for-success. The report studies the basic elements of SIB, the main implementation problems and how to solve them. The study also reports some international success cases and proposes some potential cases for the Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
