Summary: KSNET, jointly with D’Aleph, has developed a methodology to compute the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona’s living wage based on the methodology used by the Metropolitan Area of London (Greater London) and developed by researchers from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This consists of computing and quantifying a budget that covers the basic needs for different family types that allows them to live with dignity.
